UC Berkeley Suicide Prevention Walk 2016

Every year, campuses across the country hold walks to prevent suicide, the second leading cause of death among college students.

On March 12th, You Mean More will be holding the 5th annual UC Berkeley Suicide Prevention Walk, benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The event will include a great program of speakers, amazing performers, remembrance activities, therapy dogs, llamas, food, and more!

Check-in: 11:00 am
Walk: 1:00 pm

Register today, form teams, and help raise money for this important cause! Our goal is to see 500+ preregistered walkers and raise $30,000 to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Registration is free, but we ask that each walker donate at least $10 upon registration, if possible.

We highly encourage campus groups, families, and friends to join together in walking to support the destigmatization of mental health issues and help efforts to eradicate suicide cases throughout the world.

Together we can end the silence. Together we can start speaking out. Together we can break the stigma.
