SPILL is an ANONYMOUS peer-to-peer online support system for and of college students. Students can vent (or “spill”) confidentially about anything and everything from school problems to gender identity issues. Within24 hours, the spiller will get unbiased support, feedback, and resources from REAL students on campus who have been in the same situation. (We are not robots!)

Click on Spill! and vent your heart out. The sky’s the limit.

SPILL, Berkeley Chapter

Student-to-Student Peer Counseling is a group of student counselors providing free, one-on-one, confidential, walk-in and phone-in services to UC Berkeley students. As peer counselors, we provide a supportive atmosphere where students can openly talk about their feelings. Additionally, we provide up-to-date, extensive referrals for students seeking professional or specialized help. Please note that all of our services are completely free and confidential.

We are not professional counselors, which allows us to communicate with students as peers. We feel that people can help others through supportive interactions. Thus, our counseling model is uniquely designed to empower you. All peer counselors are extensively trained to cover a broad spectrum of topics, ranging anywhere from stress to suicidal thoughts. We are here to offer nonjudgmental, empathetic ears for whatever you’re going through.
